This Privacy Policy explains how MissedCallPilot ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and
protects information when you visit our website or sign up for our waitlist. This is a
straightforward summary written by a small team โ if anything is unclear, email hello@missedcallpilot.com.
Information we collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address
- Your business or company name (optional)
- Your trade (e.g. HVAC, plumbing) (optional)
- Your approximate monthly call volume (optional)
- The source link or campaign that brought you to our site (if applicable)
We do not collect payment information until you actively start a paid subscription. We do not
use third-party advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To contact you with updates about MissedCallPilot's launch and availability
- To understand which trades and use cases are interested in our product
- To respond to your questions or feedback
We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.
Service-provider data (when you become a customer)
Once you start using MissedCallPilot as a service, we will additionally process information
about your business operations and the customers who interact with your business through our
platform โ including phone numbers, SMS message contents, and call metadata. This information
is processed only to deliver the service. A separate Data Processing Addendum will be made
available before any paid plan begins.
SMS communications
If you receive a text message from MissedCallPilot or a business using MissedCallPilot, the
following terms apply:
- We do not share mobile numbers. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in
information are never shared, sold, rented, or otherwise transferred to third parties or
affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are used solely to deliver the
messages you signed up for.
- How you opt in. Transactional messages (booking confirmations, appointment
reminders, estimate links, reschedule notifications) are sent in direct response to a
specific action you took โ calling a business or submitting a booking through its public
booking page. Marketing messages (service reminders, promotional offers) are sent only to
customers who explicitly opt in by checking a marketing-consent box on the booking form.
- Message frequency. Transactional messages are sent only when you take a
specific action with the business (booking, reschedule, etc.). Marketing messages are sent
at most four (4) times per month per customer.
- Message and data rates may apply. Standard text message and data rates from
your mobile carrier may apply to each message you receive. Check with your carrier for
details.
- How to stop messages. Reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL,
END, or QUIT) to any message to immediately opt out of all further texts. You will receive
one automated confirmation. Reply HELP to any message for help and contact
information.
- Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How we store information
Information is stored on servers operated by our infrastructure provider (Railway) and our
communications provider (Twilio). We use industry-standard practices to keep this data secure.
Your choices
- You can request that we delete your waitlist record at any time by emailing us.
- You can unsubscribe from any email we send you using the link at the bottom of the email.
